A little about me...
Hello Friends!
My name is Kara Ruby and I'm originally from Independence, KY. I graduated from Simon Kenton high school in 2007 and went on to Georgetown College for my undergraduate degree. I graduated from Georgetown in 2011 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and from Xavier University in 2013 with my Masters in Education Administration. I love sports, especially football, and doing physically challenging activities. I love sweets, reading books, and doing crafts.
I hope to achieve a fun and comfortable learning environment this year with the students. It's very important to me that we work together as a community. Learning can be an amazing experience for any student, they just need to be encouraged, motivated, and given the opportunity to grow. One of the best ways to help this growth is by giving them learning opportunities at home that correspond to what we're doing at school. Please check out the "What We're Learning" tab to know what skills we're working on and the "Helpful Links" tab to get some resources. If you have any questions or would like more resources, please contact me using the information below.
I absolutely love teaching and I couldn't imagine doing any other career. I look forward to what this school year holds and working with your children. If you ever need to contact me, the best way is by email at [email protected] or by telephone at (859) 356-9668 ext. 6737 between 1:40am-2:25pm.
